Communal work in Tirbespiyê gives results

The communes in Tirbespiyê work together with the municipalities to solve the problems of citizens such as water, electricity and agriculture.

Citizens living in Northern and Eastern Syria make communal work a part of their lives and carry out service work in the city, district and villages. Communes also hold a very important place in the Democratic Autonomous Administration system.

The communal work carried out in Tirbespiyê has yielded important results. For this reason, work is being carried out to spread communal work in every area.

Citizens in the village of Heso Rela, affiliated to the Meshûq People's Municipality in the south of Tirbespiyê, have recently been experiencing serious water problems. In order to solve the problem, the Service Committee Martyr Ezîz Commune, with the coordination of the Meshûq People's Municipality, drew water networks from the well and placed them in the village.

With this work, water was brought to 150 houses in the village. The expenses of this project were covered by the villagers, the municipality and the Tirbespiyê Water Directorate.

Eli El Heco, a member of the Martyr Ezîz Feysel Commune of the Service Committee, told ANHA that the work carried out was important and that the water problem in the village was solved with the cooperation of the municipality.

Citizens in the village of Bişriye linked to the Meshûq Halk Municipality in the south of Tirbespiyê repaired the water tank in the village with the support of the municipality and water support was provided to 110 houses.

In the villages of Til Xatûn and Ewtlecê in the north of Tirbespiyê, villagers were left without water for 15 days due to the water line in the wells being cut. Citizens in the two villages purchased a new line for 1,300 dollars, while the municipality provided the necessary tools and equipment for the installation of the line. With this work carried out, water was provided for 22 more houses.

Khalib Dawud, the administrator of the Meshûq People's Municipality, told ANHA: "We support communal projects. This work is one of our main works. We have completed many projects to respond to the needs of citizens. We started working on other projects. For example, in the village of Kerdim, we are digging a water well next to the school with the cooperation of the Education Center and the local people. We want to provide water to the school and the houses nearby. We have a well digging project in the center of Meshûq with the support of the citizens."

In addition to solving water problems in many places, the People’s Municipality wants to build a bridge between the villages of Mizgeft and Xezîmok in the north of Tirbespiyê with the support of the citizens of the villages Bela Ebas and Nebûa in the south of Tirbespiyê.

Illumination of the village of Til Şiîr

Citizens in the village of Til Şiîr, which is affiliated with the Hilwe People’s Municipality in the west of Tirbespiyê, have started to illuminate the roads of their village with solar-powered lamps. Work will be carried out in other villages affiliated with Hilwe town to illuminate the roads, as in the village of Til Şîîr.
