A delegation from the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria visited the Deir ez-Zor Canton to support the people of the region.
The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria sent a delegation to the Deir ez-Zor Canton in support of its residents following last week’s wave of deadly attacks by the Damascus regime forces and armed groups of Difa al-Watani [National Defense Forces] which claimed the lives of 14 people and left dozens of others wounded.
During the visit, Hisên Osman, the Co-Chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria made a statement and said the following:
"This visit is to emphasise our support for the people of Deir ez-Zor and that we stand by them. It is also to express our condolences to the families of the martyrs. This visit is a message to the attackers who are trying to target the security and stability of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Deir ez-Zor Canton, that the SDF, the people of Deir ez-Zor and the opinion leaders of the tribes in the region will resist all kinds of attacks.
The Autonomous Administration insists on achieving a democratic society where justice is secured, in spite of those who try to attack this project. We continue our struggle to achieve the democratic nation project and a democratic society in order to ensure justice and equality throughout Syria."
