A number of people was detained during house raids carried out in Amed this morning. Yüksel Almas and Şehmus Karadağ, co-chairs of the Solidarity with Families Who Lost Their Relatives Association (MEBYA-DER), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Amed Provincial executive, Hatice Güneş, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Kayapınar co-chair, Hanım Altındağ, HDP Amed MP Dersim Dağ's father, Zeki Dağ, as well as MEBYA-DER members Ayşe Çelikbilek, Hatun Aslan and Fetullah Işıktaş were detained.

Those detained were taken to Diyarbakır Provincial Security Directorate

It is believed that the number of detentions may increase.
