“We can’t bring Demirtaş to the hearing, we’re too busy”
The reason for HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş not being brought to the hearings was given as a “busy schedule of duties”.
The court had ordered HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş be brought to the Diyarbakır Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction No.7 at 09.00 today for the hearing to be held.
The Edirne Prison Gendarmerie Troop Command responded to the notice the Edirne Prison Directorate sent them by saying that they can’t fulfill the transport of Demirtaş because of their “busy schedule of duties”.
