US ambassador to the UN calls on Turkey to "respect rights of refugees" after attack on Maxmur
The US ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, issued a short declaration on Twitter after the Turkish drone attack on Maxmur Camp in South Kurdistan and called on everyone "to respect the rights of the refugees".

As the US ambassador announced in the short message one Twitter, she had made it clear to Turkey on Friday that “any attack on civilians in the Maxmur refugee camp would be a violation of international and humanitarian law. I am deeply concerned about the violence in the vicinity of the camp today and I urge all sides to respect the rights of the refugees."
