A Kurdish child was killed another wounded in an explosion in Sirnak.

The explosion happened near Aslantepe village, situated betweeen Cizre and Idil. Rojivan (6) was killed and Besir (4) was wounded in result of the explosion.

Besir taken to Cizre State Hospital. He is reported to be in a serious condition.

The cause of the explosion remains unknown.

Ammunition left in the operation zones by the Turkish army killed tens of Kurdish children in the past.
