Two Turkish soldiers killed in Southern Kurdistan

Two Turkish soldiers were killed in a clash with HPG guerrillas in Southern Kurdistan, Turkish sources said.

According to Hakkari governor Orhan Toprak two Turkish soldiers were killed in Kani Resh area of Southern Kurdistan.

Kani Resh is in Metina region and the area is invaded by Turkish army for years. The Turkish military positions in the area are occasionally targeted by HPG guerrillas.  

Recently, on February 13, HPG guerrillas took action against a Turkish military base in Gire Biye near Zaxo and 22 Turkish soldiers were killed.
