Turkish occupation of North East Syria protested in Stockholm

Kurds and their friends have been protesting the Turkish occupation attacks against Rojava in Stockholm.

The protest was held in front of the Russian Embassy. Activists accused Russia of having given the green light to Turkey.

Activist Imran Karaer spoke to ANF. He said that the Turkish state attacked Rojava after Russia gave it the green light.

Saying that Erdoğan felt free to attack Rojava because the US, Russia and Western countries did not opposed strongly enough his plans, Karaer added: "We will never accept the invasion of Rojava. We will continue to be in the squares until Turkish troops leave Rojava."

Many Swedish people also joined the action. Among them as Caroline Faray who said she joined the demonstration to condemn the occupation carried out by the fascist Turkish state.

Faray said that the Turkish state aims at eliminating the egalitarian and democratic system established in Rojava by actually carrying out an ethnic cleansing.

"11 thousand men and women fighters lost their lives to protect their regions and the world against ISIS. - said Faray - But the US and the International Coalition have betrayed the Kurds. The whole world must stand up against the occupation."
