Fifty prisoners in Type D Closed Prison in Amed were transferred to another prison on the same campus.

It was reported that the transfer took place last week. It was learned that 50 prisoners in the Type D Closed Prison were transferred to the High Security Prison No. 1 and No. 2 within the same campus.

In September 2020, 34 prisoners from the Type D prison were transferred to High Security Prison No.1 and No.2. Among them were Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Amed Deputy Musa Farisoğulları, who was detained after been stripped of his immunity.

The names of 47 of the prisoners transferred are as follows: Murat Balcı, Ömer Durmaz, Salih Mert, Çeçan Kilkaya, Recep Ergünlü, Abdullah Dursun, Fesih Turhan, Mahsun Kahraman, Mazlum Teke, Cebrail Kurt, Abdulmüttalip Tektaş, Hüseyin Karahan, Mehmet Can Alpaydıncı, Serdar Avuzlu, Murat Dişli, Celalettin Elçiçek, Agit Yıldız, Aydın Çalışkan, Abdullah Daldelen, Mahmut Okkan, Halil Kaya, Mehmet Şirin Polat, Neşet Kaçmaz, İhsan Akgül, Ertan Çadır, Tarık Aslan, İrfan Dallı, Mustafa Yayık, Ömer Üre, Ahmet Yoldaş, Mehmet Varol, Recep Bal, Cevdet Şendik, Ferhat Çiçek, Zınar Amer Ölmez, Nurullah Çiftçi, Abdullah Koç, Bahri Fidan, Velat Kaya, Erkut Kaçan, Süleyman Aslan, Ali Fırat Demir, Abdullah Zoraslan, Ziver Kinur, Urfi Pasin, Botan İverendi, Veysel Akkurt.
