The Kurdish-German Friendship Association held its Congress

Kurdish politician İhsan Serhat stated that the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle gave identity to the people living in the diaspora as well as in Kurdistan.

The Neu-Münster Kurdish-German Friendship Association held its Congress on Sunday.

The congress, held at the premises of the Neu-Münster Kurdish-German Friendship Association, began with a minute of silence for the martyrs of freedom and the election of the council.

In his speech on recent political developments, Kurdish politician İhsan Serhat stated that the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle gave identity to the people living in the diaspora as well as in Kurdistan.

"Peace - he said - requires a price as everything else. Thousands of young people gave their lives fighting for these institutions. Our duty is to protect their memories and will."

The congress then analysed the yearly activities report and planned for the future.
