Ten Turkish special force police killed in Agri

Kurdish guerrillas killed ten special force police in Agri on November 10, People’s Defence Forces (HPG) said.

HPG released a statement about the details of an action on November 10 that targeted a police shuttle in Dogubayazit, a district of Agri province.

According to the statement, HPG guerrillas hit a shuttle bus that carries special force policemen to the Gurpinar border gate. HPG said at least ten police were killed and several were wounded in the attack.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu visited the police station where the killed policemen were based on November 11.

Five Turkish armored vehicles were also targeted by Kurdish guerillas near Agri city center on November 5.
