Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (Teyrêbazên Azadiya Kurdistan, TAK) released a statement on its website claiming responsibility for the recent bombings in Istanbul and Kayseri provinces of Turkey.
KAYSERİ
According to the statement, the action of self-sacrifice that targeted Kayseri Mountain Commando Brigade soldiers at 08:30 on December 17 was carried out by their militant Çekdar Xebat in the name of Martyr Şervan-Andok Vengeance Team.
TAK stressed that soldiers from Kayseri Mountain Commando Brigade have participated in the genocidal war waged against the Kurdish people for many years, and shed the blood of thousands of Kurds.
Accordingly, TAK's Martyr Şervan-Andok Vengeance Team particularly targeted this force in an expansive action which left dozens of them dead and many others injured.
TAK vowed that they will take revenge on the murderer crew that have a part in the savage attacks carried out in Kurdistan, and enhance their merciless battle against Turkish state fascism that aims to suppress the Kurdish people further every day.
TAK noted that their militant Çekdar Xebat, born in Van's Özalp district in 1990, joined the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle in 2009, and the ranks of TAK in 2013 after defending that a struggle tougher than the PKK's must be waged against the Turkish fascism. Accordingly, Çekdar Xebat himself commanded the action in Kayseri.
ISTANBUL
TAK also claimed responsibility for the recent bombing in Beşiktaş, Istanbul on December 10, reporting that this action was carried out by their militants Şervan Şoreş Derweş and Andok Serhat.
TAK pledged to follow in the footsteps of their comrades and to continue their actions of revenge.
Accordingly, Şervan Şoreş Derweş, born in Mardin's Kızıltepe district in 1989, joined the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle in 2007 and the ranks of TAK in 2014 in the face of his growing anger towards the enhanced repression of the Kurdish people by Turkish state fascism.
The other TAK member Andok Serhat, born in Urfa's Suruç district on 05.06.1986, joined the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle in 2007 and the ranks of TAK in 2014.
