A summary of proceedings was prepared against Workers’ Party of Turkey (TIP) Leader and Istanbul MP Erkan Bas.

The judiciary, bound to the AKP regime, demands the lifting of Bas’ parliamentary immunity. The summary on the matter was sent to the Parliament.

This is the second summary on Bas that has been sent to the Parliament.

On June 2, summaries were prepared against HDP Co-chair Pervin Buldan and MP Feleknas Uca.

On May 15, summaries demanding the lifting of immunities against 21 MPs, including Leyla Guven who was then still on a hunger strike, were sent to the Parliamentary President’s Office.

On May 8, 13 summaries were prepared against 9 MPs including HDP Co-chairs Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli.
