After breaking ISIS' first line of defense in the outskirts west of Raqqa, SDF fighters have broken ISIS' second line of defense by taking control of the al-Qadisiya neighborhood southwest of the city three days ago.

Amid heavy clashes ongoing for two days, SDF forces are now advancing into the neighborhood of al-Diriyah. ISIS gangs are trying to stop the SDF advance through snipers and mines they have laid in several locations across the neighborhood.
