Italian citizens have held a series of demonstrations in solidarity with the Resistance of the Age in Afrin in the Pisa and Florence provinces.

A PKK flag was opened during a football match in Pisa, Italy and messages were given for solidarity with Afrin. In Florence, activists put up a banner for the Afrin resistance.

A banner was draped from a historic bridge in Florence, Italy for solidarity with Afrin while Italian citizens who work in the CPA opened a banner protesting their own institution.

A group of university students in Florence concluded last night the civil disobedience protest they had continued for 2 days. The students held seminars and art exhibitions during the civil disobedience protests to generate awareness for Afrin and put up YPG/YPJ/PKK flags and posters of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
