Senators demand the release of Abdullah Öcalan in front of the Spanish Senate

Senators from 7 different parties from the Spanish State demanded the release of Abdullah Öcalan in front of the Senate.

This morning at the initiative of Basque Senator Gorka Elejabarrieta and Senator of the Balearic Islands Vicenç Vidal, spokpersons of seven parties with representation in the Spanish Senate have gathered at the doors of the Senate in Madrid to demand the release of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Those present wanted to show their solidarity with the Kurdish people and express their deepest concern for the lack of news about Abdullah Öcalan and the persistent rumor about his health.

They have also shown their support but couldn't take part at the protest.
