SDF: Turkish base in Qereqozax destroyed

The SDF said in the 24-hour balance sheet of the resistance against the Turkish state and the SNA, that a base in Qereqozax was completely destroyed.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center released a statement detailing the actions carried out in the resistance against the Turkish state and the Syrian National Army (SNA).

The statement said that on Wednesday “the occupying Turkish state continued its attacks with warplanes and drones targeting the area around the Tishrin Dam and the south and east of Manbij. Turkish warplanes bombed the village of Sheikh Ubeyd throughout the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, while the area around the Tishrin Dam was targeted by howitzers and heavy weapons until Thursday morning. Our forces did not suffer any loss in the attacks. On the contrary, our forces carried out many actions on Qereqozax Hill, but we are not able to disclose details of the actions.”

The statement added: “The Martyr Harun Units carried out an attack on the Turkish proxies’ base on Qereqozax Hill, destroying it completely.

Turkish warplanes bombed the villages of Xeseq, Mehlê and Dîkan in the south of Kobanê. At the same time, the same villages were randomly targeted by howitzers, mortars and tanks. More than 150 artillery shells were fired at the villages of Xeseq, Tîna, Cada, Bîr Hiso and Qereqozax, and only material damage occurred in the attacks.

A drone belonging to the occupying Turkish state bombed a house in the city of Kobanê, killing two civilians, and injuring a woman.

On the Der Hafir front, drones flew in the region targeting a post of our forces. Only material damage occurred in the attack.”
