Wrath of Euphrates Operation Room held a press briefing regarding the latest developments in the third phase of the military campaign to liberate Raqqa from ISIS occupation.

The press statement was read by a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander Dilbirîn Kobanê.

SDF Commander announced that Wrath of Euphrates fighters have taken the Raqqa-Deir ez-Zor road and the water channel around Raqqa under their control today.

Dilbirîn Kobanê said fighters are now advancing towards two strategic hills to encircle Raqqa, noting that Raqqa center will have been encircled entirely once these two hills are liberated from the ISIS.

Regarding the safety of civilians in the city, SDF Commander made the following warning: "Raqqa residents must keep away from where ISIS gangs are positioned in order not to face any harm during clashes. Our forces continue their advance with a high morale. We are ready to liberate all Syrian lands."
