SDF fighters rescue 160 more civilians near Tabqa

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have liberated 160 more civilians from ISIS occupation near Tabqa city of Raqqa province.

Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their Operation Wrath of Euphrates around Tabqa city of Raqqa province since March 21.

Having liberated several villages and towns from ISIS since, SDF fighters are on the other hand rescuing dozens of families from ISIS occupation every day and transferring them to safe areas under their control.

SDF fighters have rescued 160 more civilians, most women and children, from the gangs yesterday.

Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, MSF) members are providing medical care for the rescued locals at a health facility they operate west of the Tabqa city.

SDF fighters have rescued thousands of civilians and enabled their access to safe zones during their ongoing military campaign Wrath of Euphrates.
