BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Muþ Deputy Sýrrý Sakýk went to Muþ for the signature campaign about the 'bilingual life' project. Sakýk remarked that a defeated army and a wounded elephant are very dangerous, saying; "The Prime Minister is also like a wounded elephant".
Addressing to party members in BDP provincial building, deputy Sýrrý Sakýk expressed that the Kurdish problem started in 1920 and has not came to a conclusion yet.
Indicating that poor Turkish people also suffer alongside the Kurds, Sakýk reminded his statements in the Parliament that a defeated army and a wounded elephant are very dangerous.
Sakýk continued as follows; “The Prime Minister is also like a wounded elephant. He is today giving a speech which on one side attacks mercilessly on people as he is talked out about Kurdish question, while he makes a speech targeting BDP, on the other side. Let him be a candidate from Muþ, Mardin, Siirt in an election. We dare it. Despite all possibilities of the state, we will withdraw from politics if we don’t surpass him. The Kurdish issue should not more be a victim of politics. Be sure that a single drop of blood is more sacred than 500 deputies. "
