Events were organised in Vienna, Austria and Munich, Germany to mark the 7th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution.

The celebration organised by the PYD (Democratic Union Party) Commission in Vienna was held at the Democratic Kurdish Community Center with the participation of Kurdish citizens and their friends from Europe.

The event began with a minute of silence, followed by a cinevision screening and speeches in the name of the PYD. Speakers laid emphasis on the importance of the revolution in Rojava, West Kurdistan and condemned the occupation threats and attacks of the Turkish state that has already invaded parts of northern Syria. The event ended with musical performance of the Rojava band.

Another celebration organised by the Democratic Kurdish Community Center took place in the German city of Munich. Speeches delivered here told about the Rojava revolution and its achievements, and condemned the attacks of the Turkish state. The event ended with a musical performance.
