Cezire Canton Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulkerim Ömer, YPJ Spokeswoman Nesrin Abdullah and YPJ Committee of Foreign Affairs Member El Derwis were received by Nicolas Schmit, Luxembourg's Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of the general situation in Syria and Rojava, future of Syria, the current political process, Geneva-3 talks and the project of safe camps prepared by Rojava administration for Syrian refugees.
Luxembourg Minister Schmit stressed that Kurds fought terror on behalf of all humanity, and that this struggle must be supported by the international arena and states as well.
Schmit said the non-invitation to Geneva-3 of Kurds and democratic forces countering terror in Syria was inexplicable. He pointed out that the democratic system in Rojava could be taken as an example for the Syrian territory.
