Revolutionary Front calls for resistance against Turkish occupation

The Revolutionary Front issued a statement to condemn the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and said, "To oppose fascism, colonial war and occupation is to protect our future."

The Revolutionary Front (tr. Devrimci Cephe) made a written statement regarding the Turkish state's invasion operation targeting the Gare region in Medya Defense Zones, Southern Kurdistan (Northern Iraq).

The statement said, "The fascist colonialist Turkish state is seeking new massacres against the Kurdish people and its freedom fighters with the invasion attack launched on Gare on the night of February 10, under the name of "Operation Claw Eagle-2."

"This attack as a whole is directed against the Kurdish people and their achievements as well as the freedom and cohabitation in the region. At the same time, it targets the peoples of Turkey. The objective of the attack is to smoothen the public reaction against poverty in Turkey and the resistance initiated by the youth by disseminating nationalist chauvinist feelings," the statement said.

The Revolutionary Front stressed that, "We must not forget that silence in the face of this colonial occupation would only empower them. Wherever we are in all areas of life, it is our duty and responsibility not to remain silent on this invasion attack and to oppose it, to condemn the colonialist fascist invasion attack and to take a stand.

We must understand well that the struggle initiated by the youth, especially against fascism, and any other struggle as a whole, cannot succeed without being integrated with the resistance against this colonial occupation.

To oppose fascism, colonial war and occupation is to protect our future."
