Raqqa Civilian Assembly spends great effort for migrants

Thousands of civilians saved in the last few days of the Wrath of Euphrates operation have been greeted by the Raqqa Civilian Assembly.

The number of migrants who have been saved from ISIS gangs in the few days from the south of Raqqa has surpassed 10 thousand. 5 thousand of the Raqqan civilians who were transported to safe zones by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been settled in camps after their medical and security checks.

The Raqqa Civilian Assembly decided on a location for a new camp in Eyn Isa camp and the migrants are already flocking there.

Despite their limited means, the Raqqa Civilian Assembly is trying to fulfill the needs of the civilian population saved from the gangs and has called on international humanitarian aid organizations for support. The Assembly along with the local residents have been spending great efforts to aid the migrants.
