PKK anniversary celebrated in Belgium and France

Kurds and their friends living in Arscoot (Belgium) and Rennes (France) celebrated the 42nd anniversary of the PKK.

Celebrations for the 42nd anniversary of the PKK have begun all over Europe.

ARSCOOT

Hundreds of people attended the celebration in Arscoot, Belgium. Kurdish politician Süleyman Günyeli made a speech at the event which started with a minute silence.

Artists Zinar Sozdar, Narinxan, Şerif Ömeri and Ali Ciwan performed at the event and a video about the PKK was screened.

The night ended with halay and slogans.

RENNES

Kurds and their friends living in Rennes also celebrated the anniversary of the establishment of the PKK with one night in the Espace Bel Air hall.

The hall was decorated with photographs of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and the founding cadres, martyrs and flags of the PKK.

Hundreds of people joined the celebration began with a minute silence and a video.

The celebration continued with the musical performances of Kurdish artists and Children's Choir of Rennes Amara Democratic Kurdish Community Association.
