Over two thousand years asked for BDP members

While the number of summaries of proceeding against BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) members has reached 554 since they first took place in the parliament, a total 2 thousand 473 years imprisonment sentence is asked for BDP members in the frame of the cases they are undergoing trial for.  

A total 544 summaries of proceeding were started against 19 BDP members for speaking Kurdish and asking for a democratic and peaceful solution for the Kurdish problem. And in the cases opened in various courts against deputies, a total 2 thousand 473 years imprisonment sentence is asked for BDP members.

The cases of Ahmet Türk and Aysel Tuðluk, whose memberships in the parliament were dropped by the Constitutional Court, ask for total 139.5 years penalty of imprisonment.

Among BDP parliamentarians, Mardin Mp Emine Ayna is the primary name who received summaries of proceeding at the most with 69 ones. There is a total 335 year imprisonment sentence demand for Ayna from various cases. Ayna is followed by Van Mp Özdal Üçer with 57 summaries of proceeding and Þýrnak Mp Sevahir Bayýndýr.
