According to the reports coming, Turkish army started a military operation in the region following the burning down of a transformer of Dinar HES Dam by MKP (Maoist Communist Party) guerrillas. A specialized sergeant died in the clash, which broke out during the operation at around 22.00. The air-assist operation in the region is reported to be continuing.

In the meantime, it has been reported that the rural areas of Filiç Village, which lies between Dersim and Ovacýk, have been under bombardment by cobra type aircrafts since last night.
