Mass grave with 70 bodies opened in Iraq

Efforts to open a mass grave in Iraq’s Samawah province have started. There are 70 bodies in the grave, including women and children.

RojNews reported that efforts began to open a mass grave in the Seyxiye district of Iraq’s Samawah province. There were 70 bodies in the grave, including women and children.

The mass grave is being opened by special units from the Interior Ministry and Martyrs Ministry of Iraq with observers from international organizations.

Representatives from the Iraqi Martyrs Ministry, doctors, MPs and regional officers are present in the efforts.

The mass grave has bodies of women and children buried alive by the Baath regime.
