Martyr Evîn Goyî Women's Council sent hundreds of letters to the CPT protesting the Imralı torture.
Martyr Evîn Goyî Women's Council in Paris also participated in the letter campaign launched by the European Kurdish Women's Movement to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) to protest the torture and genocide system in Imralı.
Kurdish women living in Paris took action to ensure that the CPT fulfilled its duty.
As part of the campaign, women collected hundreds of letters, took them to the post office in the Villiers-le-bel suburb of Paris and sent them.
The letters demanded the CPT to intervene immediately to end the absolute lack of communication toward Abdullah Öcalan. The women said: “President Öcalan is the will of the people and women. We will not give up fighting for the physical freedom of our Leader. We will continue our struggle until this isolation is broken."
