Long marches are being staged in various countries to condemn the 15 February International Conspiracy against Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Kurds and friends living in Cyprus have started a one-day Long March to protest the international conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan, who was arrested in Kenya and handed over to Turkey on 15 February 1999.
The march started from the Dali district of the capital Nicosia and will end in front of the Greek Consulate.
The protesters continue their march with the slogan “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long Live Leader Öcalan), distributing leaflets about the international conspiracy along the route.
