Kurds to protest outside OPCW headquarters two days a week

Kurds continue their protests all around the world in response to the Turkish state’s genocidal campaign against the Kurds in various parts of Kurdistan.

The Turkish state continues its genocidal attacks against guerrilla forces in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq). The Turkish army is increasingly resorting to the use of chemical warfare agents due to unsuccessful attempts to capture the guerrillas' defensive positions. Nevertheless, the will to stand against the war of aggression remains unbroken.

As part of protests against the use of chemical weapons against guerrillas, Kurdish activists will be holding a demonstration outside the headquarters of the OPCW (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) in the Hague, the Netherlands.

During the demonstrations that will be taking place every Tuesday and Thursday from May 3 to June 30, activists will demand OPCW to conduct an onsite examination into the chemical agents employed by the Turkish army in its ongoing war in Kurdistan.

Kurds and their friends are invited to join the protests promoted by the Free Women’s organisation, NAV-BEL and DEM-NED.
