Thousands of Kurds celebrated Newroz in Berlin. Thousands of people joined the Newroz celebration at Oranienplatz. The celebration, which started with a minute of silence, continued with the joint statement read by the Newroz organization committee.

During the celebration, which continued with the hearing of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's assessment on Newroz, FED-KURD spokesperson saluted the Kurdish people and their resistance.

In the speech made on behalf of TJK-E, the women movement saluted the Newroz of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, guerrillas and prisoners on hunger strike.

The Newroz celebration ended with the lighting of the fire and the halay performed around the fire.
