A Turkish court sentenced a Kurdish mayor to 7.5 years in prison for "terrorist propaganda" charges.
Diyarbakir 6th High Criminal Court head the case of Kozluk mayor Mehmet Resid Hasimi's case today.
Hasimi was sentenced to 7,5 years for chanting slogans during a meeting in front of Batman municipality in 2009.
The judges said the mayor made "terrorist propaganda" by chanting slogans.
