Kurdish conference in the European Parliament
The EU Turkey Civic Commission (EUTCC) is organising a conference on Kurdish problem at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The conference is also supported by Nobel Peace Prise holders Desmond Tutu and Shirin Ebadi as well as by Leyla Zana, Yasar Kemal, Noam Chomsky and Vedat Turkali.
EUTCC is organising the 7th Kurdish conference between 17-18 November.
In the conference entitled “A way for Peace- Facing the truths” Turkey’s membership with the EU will be discussed. BDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtas and DTK co-chair Ahmet Turk will also deliver theirs speeches in the conference. It is also reported that several journalist and NGO representatives will also discuss about the Kurdish issue and the possible ways to peace.
