According to KRG Coordinator for International Advocacy Dindar Zebari, KRG will hand over ISIS prisoners to Iraq in groups and in each phase 50-55 prisoners will be sent to Baghdad.

Several thousand ISIS gang members and supporters surrendered themselves to peshmerga forces escaping from Shia militia. Iraqi government accused KRG of not intending to transfer captured IS fighters to Iraqi courts to stand trial.
