KCK obituary for the Pope

KCK extends their condolences and sympathies to all Christians in the world, especially the Catholic world, the Vatican State, his family, his loved ones, his followers and all those who strive to spread the message of goodness and humanity to the world.

The Co-Presidency of the KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) Executive Council published an obituary for the spiritual leader of the Catholic world and President of the Vatican, Pope Francis.

The KCK obituary states the following:

“It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of the Catholic world and President of the Vatican.

The death of Pope Francis, who came from the Argentine people and always knew how to remain a people’s man, is a great loss for humanity. During his 12 years of pontificate, Pope Francis accomplished significant achievements. Pope Francis has taken a stand against the genocidal wars of interest imposed by capitalist modernity on different parts of the world. In addition to carrying out important reforms in the Vatican, he has visited different parts of the world, particularly also Kurdistan and the Middle East, and encouraged the development of relations between religions and peoples, playing a unifying role on behalf of humanity. Pope Francis has always been the voice of peace, love and compassion with his smile and his revolution of mercy. Pope Francis has stood on the side of the oppressed and victimized and has given greater attention to women and the youth.

The passing of Pope Francis at the end of Easter has a special spiritual meaning and value. We extend our condolences and sympathies to all Christians in the world, especially the Catholic world, the Vatican State, his family, his loved ones, his followers and all those who strive to spread the message of goodness and humanity to the world. May the soul of Pope Francis rest in peace.”
