Internationalist conference in solidarity with Rojava on day 2

Internationalist revolutionaries are discussing the experiences of Rojava in Germany.

Hundreds of German internationalist revolutionaries are attending a two-day conference in Heidelberg regarding the Turkish state's invasion attacks and massacres against Rojava.

The conference is organized under the slogan “Democratic Vision and Perspective in North and East Syria”.

The conference, which started on Saturday, continues with Rojava-oriented discussions and important presentations.

On the first day of the conference, topics such as Abdullah Öcalan’s Democratic Confederalism paradigm, the ideology of the Kurdish Women's Movement, the history of the Kurdish press, ecology and Jineology (Women’s Science) were discussed.

The participants have also made remarkable presentations about the attacks carried out by the Turkish state on energy facilities in Rojava.

In the first session of the second day of the conference, Prof. Dr. Michael Haus from Heidelberg University made a presentation titled “Creating Democratic Structures”.

Another important topic of the day was “Security in Rojava”. A member of the Asayish (Internal Security Forces) from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria was contacted to share information on the organization of security and the construction of nonviolent structures in a war-torn region. The discussions focused on new ways to ensure security, peace and justice.
