Students at Germany’s prominent Technical University of Berlin held a civil disobedience action this morning to call attention to the Turkish state’s attacks against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria.

Hanging a banner depicting a tank on the main building of the university, referring to German tanks used in Turkish attacks against Afrin- students condemned the Merkel government’s deal with Erdoğan government.

“No deal with Erdoğan, defend Afrin” read the banner.
