HPG guerrillas kill 15 soldiers in Hakkari

People's Defence Forces (HPG) guerrillas killed 15 Turkish soldiers in Hakkari on Monday.

HPG Press and Communication Centre released a statement about the recent clashes between the Turkish army and HPG guerrillas in Semdinli, a district of Hakkari province.

On December 25, HPG guerrillas carried out an action against Turkish army units in Mawa Hill near Semdinli. Three army positions were hit with RPG-7 rocket launchers and heavy weapons and all were destroyed.

HPG said at least seven Turkish soldiers were killed in Mawa Hill.

Earlier on the same day, HPG guerrillas killed eight soldiers stationed in Tepe Siro in rural Semdinli.
