Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP for Hakkari, Leyla Güven is on day 160 of her indefinite hunger strike protest demanding the end of the isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

A delegation of politicians has paid a solidarity visit to Leyla Güven on Tuesday.

The delegation included HDP Co-chairs Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli, HDK (Peoples’ Democratic Congress) Co-spokesperson Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, DTK Co-chair Berdan Öztürk, DBP (Democratic Regions Party) Co-chair Mehmet Aslan, HDP Mardin MP Pero Dündar and Amed (Diyarbakır) MP Musa Farisoğlulları.
