HDP delegation concludes diplomatic contacts in Berlin

A delegation of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) held high-level meetings with German political parties in Berlin.

HDP Assembly Chief Administrator Mahmut Toğrul, Group Deputy Chairman Hakkı Saruhan Oluç, Deputy Pero Dündar, HDP Germany Office managers held diplomatic meetings with political party representatives and political foundations in Berlin, Germany. The HDP delegation met with Federal Government partners SPD, FDP, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (The Greens) and opposition left-wing party Die Linke and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung foundation which has close ties to the CDU.

The HDP delegation talked to the following names: “SPD foreign relations spokesperson Nils Schmidt, FDP Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ulrich Lechte, Greens party Co-Chair Ricarda Lang, and Federal Vice President Pegah Edalation, Greens member and Turkey-Germany friendship group head Max Lucks, Die Linke Foreign Relations spokesperson Gregor Gysi , Die Linke Fraction spokesperson Dietmar Bartsch and MPs, Marc Berthold, head of the European Union and North America division of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Imme Scholz, board member of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Christina Baade, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung's representative for the Middle East and North Africa.”

TURKISH ATTACK IN SOUTH KURDISTAN IS AN INVASION

The German representatives and politicians expressed solidarity with the HDP over the closure case against the party, the Kobani Conspiracy Case and the Turkish attacks in Rojava and Bashure (South) Kurdistan.

The election alliances in Turkey were also addressed during the meetings.

Sources who spoke to ANF reported that the representatives of the governing partners SPD, FDP and Greens considered the AKP-MHP government's attack in South Kurdistan as an "invasion attack".
