Speaking from the party headquarters, HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) deputy co-chair Saruhan Oluç, confirmed that the HDP has overcome the 10% threshold, according to initial figures coming through.

Oluç reiterated the call to observers and people to not leave the polling stations until the official results are known.

Speaking to the press Oluç said that despite the manipulation attempts by the State Anadolu Agency, the HDP has been confirmed as overcoming the threshold.

Oluç underlined that is vital for people and observers to not leave station polls at this delicate stage.

He added that the Anadolu Agency would keep distorting the reality for a few more hours in the hope to cancel truth.

Oluç pointed out that Anadolu Agency specifically tried to manipulate results in Kurdish cities, so to demoralize people.
