Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met in Ankara with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and Esad Hasan Shaybani, the Foreign Minister of the interim Damascus government.
In a joint press conference held after the meeting, Fidan also commented on the PKK’s congress decisions.
Fidan said: "It is a historic and important decision. I consider it particularly significant in terms of lasting peace and stability. Following this decision, there are practical steps that need to be taken, and we will closely monitor them."
