German parliamentarian delegation to visit Amed

The group of German parliamentarians who will visit Turkey in hopes of finding a path to dialogue in the ongoing Incirlik Air Base crisis between the Erdoğan regime and Germany will also visit Amed.

The crisis between Germany and Turkey that emerged when the Erdoğan regime didn’t allow German parliamentarians to visit German soldiers stationed in the Incirlik Air Base continues.

A delegation from the German Parliament is going to visit Turkey to find a way out of the crisis.

The delegation led by Federal Parliament Vice President Greens MP Claudia Roth will begin their meetings on Thursday.

The visit will continue until Sunday, and the German MPs will meet with both AKP MPs and representatives from oppositional parties in Turkey.

CLAUDIA ROTH AND THE DELEGATION WILL VISIT AMED

According to sources close to the Greens, Claudia Roth and the delegation will also visit Amed on Friday.

Reports say Roth is planning to meet with Ahmet Türk, former Mardin Co-mayor who was removed from his post by the Interior Ministry.

Representatives from HDP, DTK and DBP are also expected to join the meeting.
