The Ministry of Health of the Hamas government ruling the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll in the Palestinian territories since the start of the war with Israel has exceeded 38,000.

According to the statement, 38,011 people have lost their lives in Israeli attacks since the war started on 7 October.

The statement said that at least 58 people have died in the last 24 hours, while 87,445 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since 7 October. In its statements, Hamas does not distinguish between civilians and fighters among the dead and wounded.
