To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, French President Emmanuel Macron invited several heads of state, including the Turkish dictator Erdoğan, to the French capital Paris.
The women's organization FEMEN received the heads of state at the Arc de Triomphe with the slogan "Welcome war criminals".
The women had written on their bodies: "Fake Peacemakers - Real Dictators."
A written statement published by FEMEN on the protest demonstration also criticized Turkish President Erdogan for “waging an unrelenting war against Kurds”.
