Eight FSA militants killed in Aleppo
Clashes are continuing in the region of Aleppo since 6 September when the mainly Kurdish Sheik Maksoud (Şêx Meqsûd), Esrefiye, Sekin Şebabi and Şiqêf neighborhoods of the city were attacked by brigades affiliated to the Military Council of Aleppo and the Free Syrian Army backed by Turkey, western and gulf countries.
According to the reports received from the region, militants of FSA linked brigades attacked the Esrefiye and Sekin Şebabi neighborhoods at around 2 a.m. last night.
Clashes broke out in the region as fighters of the YPG (People's Defense Units) and the Kurdish al-Akrad Front responded to the attacks. Eight members of the FSA were killed and ten others wounded in clashes which lasted till 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The FSA militants killed here are said to have been carrying opiate drugs on themselves.
Clashes are reported to be continuing in some areas.
At least 80 members of the gang groups have been killed in clashes with YPG fighters in Aleppo since 6 September. The jihadist groups' recent artillery attacks against Kurdish neighborhoods have left at least 14 civilians dead and 40 others wounded.
Among the groups involved in the attacks on Kurdish neighborhoods are Selahaddin Brigade, Battle Martyrs' Brigade, al-Rebie al-Arabi Brigade, Ensar al-Islam Brigade, Syrian Martyrs' Brigade, Ehrar al-Sham Movement, Komele forces, Muhammed al-Fatih Brigade and the Azadi Brigade affiliated to Azadi Party against which Supreme Kurdish Council opened an investigation on 4 September.
