Seventeen out of the forty-one youngsters, who were detained in Ankara, were arrested. Among the detained people is also DÝHA (Dicle News Agency) reporter Emine Altýnkaya, who was at Youth Culture Center during the raid for a news follow-up.  

Forty-one students including DÝHA reporter Emine Altýnkaya, who were detained during the police raid on Youth Culture Center in Ankara on 27 November, were sent to courthouse after the proceedings in Police Station.  

While 10 of the detainees were released after giving statements at Public Prosecution’s Office, 31 were sent to Ankara 11. High Criminal Court On-Duty Judicature with arrest demand. 17 of 31 students were arrested with the allegation of “being organization members”, while 14 were released by the court pending a trial.
