DEM Party delegation concludes talks in Russia

DEM Party concluded its talks with authorities and various institutions in Russia.

A delegation of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) has been having talks in Russia for the past three days. The delegation consisted of Ebru Günay, Deputy Co-Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Commission; Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki, Deputy Co-Chairperson of the Democratic Local Governments Committee; Saruhan Oluç, Co-Spokesperson of the Economic Commission, and Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, Group Deputy Chairperson.

According to a statement released by the DEM Party Press Office on Friday, the delegation concluded their talks in Russia.

According to the statement, the delegation lastly participated in a round table program organized by the Oriental Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event was also attended by experts and academicians.

During the meeting, the developments in Turkey and the region, Russia-Turkey relations and the ethnic and religious identity problems in the context of regional dynamics in the Middle East were evaluated and DEM Party's solution perspective was shared.

The delegation also visited the Institute of Kurdish Studies and received information about its activities.
