Alparslan Arslan who attacked the Turkish Conseil d’état and is tried within the scope of Ergenekon case applied to avail himself of the repentance law.

In the course of the hearing of today before Istanbul Heavy Criminal Court Nr. 13 Arslan told the court that he regrets about what he did and wants to apply to enjoy repentance law.

“I declare my fidelity with the state. I have never attempted to destroy the state. I regret. I respect the law” said Arslan. The chief judge also offered him to testify under discretion.
